Slay The Great Beast

Not with sword, spear, or arrow... nay, The Beast is much too powerful having grown immense and strong lo, these past 247 years.

The Beast must be starved. Remember the tale of the brave Polish Citizens in the 1980's and how they starved their own worse version of a beast poisoned by Communism? Lead by the great Lech Wałęsa and the labor unions with the blessings of Pope John Paul II their beast was slain and they now live in freedom. Unfortunately in our land, the labor unions are both the sponsors and benefactors of The Beast, and would never betray their own self interests for the good of all. For they too, must be destroyed.

Therefore, it is up to us.  Because the monster is fed automatically from the fruits of our labors, we must ALL refuse to labor for a period of one month, and subsist upon our surpluses and help our neighbors where we can. Your humble author once thought he was one week's bag of coins away from homelessness, but when the horrible event of unemployment happened in The Year of Our Lord 2016, he was amazed how easily he got by with a little personal sacrifice. The one month nationwide strike should send the message that we are not simple peasants to be trifled with. If The Beast does not learn the lesson, then a longer period of starvation shall commence until The Beast is brought to heel.

For this is thy plan for a bloodless crushing of The Beast. To take up arms against it would be too costly, and when it would be over, The Beast would simply start growing again. It must be turned from the fire-breathing destructive monster in the illustration, to a cute little puppy wishing to please it's Master.
